LEADING DEVELOPERS CHOOSE DE MARCHIS SERGISON – Lighting Design+
Buckinghamshire based De Marchis Sergison Lighting Design+ has designed, supplied lighting fixtures and project-managed the lighting requirements for prestigious conversion project, Herringswell Manor.
Herringswell Manor, near Newmarket, is another lighting project De Marchis Sergison have completed for leading developers and conversion specialists, City & Country Group. A former private Japanese school, the Manor and it’s outbuildings now make up 29 homes.
Designed and specified to enhance existing features including art nouveau fireplaces, original parquet flooring and oak panelling, the internal lighting features include hidden ceiling washes of continuous click-strip lighting to bathe ceilings with warm light, together with modern elements, including buried floor uplights to define alcoves and seating areas. In addition, De Marchis Sergison specified and supplied bespoke wall and suspended fixtures to compliment the interior.
A large portion of the lighting design was focused on external lighting with dramatic results. On the approach to the manor, the driveway and surrounding landscape is illuminated creatively. De Marchis Sergison specified and supplied both fixed in-ground uplights and ground mounted mini metal halide projectors that add drama to the illumination of ancient trees,
Director and Principal Designer, Piero De Marchis, said: “We were very pleased to again be working with City & Country Group. The products used were sourced specifically for the Herringswell Manor conversion and to meet the Regulations and budget criteria.”
De Marchis Sergison specialise in large residential developer projects, and have a number of year’s experience in conversion projects for Developers.
